PUTTING ON AIRS
The Eastern Highlands Health District brings the Putting on AIRS program to residents of EHHD member towns through a grant from the Department of Public Health, and in coordination with the Region 3 Asthma Coalition.
Putting on AIRS is an in-home assessment of environmental triggers for asthma. Through this program, a sanitarian and a health educator come to your home to work with you to identify potential triggers, and ways to eliminate these triggers from your home. Participants not only receive an in-home assessment, but are also provided with a variety of educational materials to assist them in their quest for a trigger-free home.
